The COALITION OF COMMUNITY HEALTH EDUCATION (CCHE) is an initiative of the Program in Community Health Education of the Department of Health and Behavior Studies, Teachers College, Columbia University. The CCHE represents an effort to meet the workforce development and continuing education needs of peer educators, community health workers, community health educators, heath education specialists, and others engaged in promoting public health. We seek to meet workforce development and continuing education needs by specializing in the provision of online content (e.g. Videos, Webinars, articles, quizzes) that will increase knowledge and enhance the skills of those interested in improving community and public health. In the process, we seek to address health disparities, close health gaps, and foster equity in health as part of a 21st century social justice movement to bring about equity in health for all.
